How long will it take for my 551 Fico Score to increase to 700, on average?
I would like to know from those who truely know what they are talking about, not from those who just try writing anything just to earn points….I have a 551 fico score and the following:
One student loan of about $3300 bal,
One New secured credit card limit $200 with zero balance, One store credit card limit $100 with zero balance,
One installment loan of $5400 bal,
A few late payments that go back to the latest one in Jan 2007,
A credit card that has been closed for $200 limit (closed by grantor),
A bally total fitness acct that was paid in full (satisfactorally).
Based on these facts how long will it take me to get my score to 700?

We’ve been looking to buy a home and started looking seriously, I have a 807 FICO score and my other half has an 804, (we got the letter from B of A) today. Is there a way to get our scores higher in a couple of months? We don’t have a cent of debt and always pay our CC’s off every month. I’d like to bump our scores to 850. (the limit)
